Discovering Cenotes with Centre College. Santa Bárbara, Yucatán.

The cenotes of Santa Bárbara in Homún Yucatán are natural jewels that offer a unique underground exploration experience. These cenotes, formed by the erosion of limestone, are characterized by their crystal-clear waters and lush jungle surroundings. Visitors can enjoy activities such as swimming, diving and snorkeling in cool, clear waters, while admiring the beauty of the stalactites and stalagmites that hang from the ceiling of the caves.

My name is Annija Westfall and I'm a senior at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky.
My major is chemistry and I'm also doing a minor in Spanish.
I'm from Los Alamos, New Mexico, but when I was 14 I moved to Chile without knowing any Spanish. After finishing my first year at college, my family moved back to the US.
