A typical day involved getting to the office and working on sales analysis and having lunch with someone from the office everyday.
During my time as an intern, I was responsible for providing a sales forecast that showed the probable sales of a restaurant.
Learning so much about Spanish in a workplace environment was extremely helpful and the relationships I established with individuals in the office are going to be lifelong connections.
In this program, I learned how to navigate a Spanish Speaking environment, and since I want to be an immigration attorney in the future, practicing conversational Spanish at a high level allowed me to grow confident in my career path.
What I liked the most about living in Merida was the people who were so welcoming and caring. I recommend this internship program because working and completely immersing yourself in the culture is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
