Discovering Cuba. Centre College 2024

Cuba, the jewel of the Caribbean, is a destination that captivates with its rich history and warm white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters. But beyond its superficial beauty, Cuba is a country full of culture where the mix of African, Spanish, and Caribbean influences is reflected in its music, its art and its hospitable and passionate people.

Discovering Cenotes with Centre College. Santa Bárbara, Yucatán.

The cenotes of Santa Bárbara in Homún Yucatán are natural jewels that offer a unique underground exploration experience. These cenotes, formed by the erosion of limestone, are characterized by their crystal-clear waters and lush jungle surroundings. Visitors can enjoy activities such as swimming, diving and snorkeling in cool, clear waters, while admiring the beauty of the stalactites and stalagmites that hang from the ceiling of the caves.

Hello! I'm Jason Wong, a first-generation Chinese-American from New York City with a strong passion for international relations and public service.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Chinese at Centre College, I've gained diverse experiences, including the University of Reading's International Relations, Politics, and Economics Program and involvement in historical preservation at the Danville Boyle County African American Historical Society.
