Internationalization has become an inevitable transition for many institutions in the world. International Service Learning derive organically from strategies that emphazise a reciprocal relationship between an international group of students and a local community. They both develop a project together and learn from each other. The core of this experience is reciprocity and reflection. Experiential learning is key in academic development.

Our students have participated with international service learning programs working in a local community in Merida. Both students and community teach and learn in a transcultural dynamic that is enriching and empowering both groups.

It is withouth a doubt, one of the most rewarding experiences for students.
